This class reviews tax planning strategies that the tax practitioner can use for his or her clients in 2019 to reduce federal tax liability. Particular attention is paid to strategies created or enhanced by the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.

  2. Describe the new limits on excess business losses and net operating losses and ways to mitigate the potential effect.

  4. Explain how and when a cost segregation study on a client’s rental property could provide optimal tax outcomes.
  5. Demonstrate and quantify how your children or relatives can provide you tax savings opportunities
