This course reviews the individual and business tax provisions contained in the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022. The course also reviews the additional funding that the law makes available by Congress for the IRS for enforcement and modernization.

  • Describe the major features of the corporation book minimum tax and the stock buyback excise tax. 
  • List the changes made to existing federal tax credits by the law.
  • Explain how the new federal tax credits created by the law will operate and to whom they will be available.
  • State the additional funding amounts provided to the IRS and other tax administration functions.
